The Flash Foxy Trad Fest is a three-day climbing event for women and genderqueer climbers of all ages with rotating locations every 3-5 years. As a compliment to our Bishop event which is primarily bouldering and sport climbing with a little trad climbing, the Flash Foxy Trad Fest is primarily trad climbing with some bouldering and top roping.

This is our first year in Mammoth Lakes, CA, and we're excited to be on the East Side for an epic weekend of community building, skill sharing, and play! We hope that the Flash Foxy Trad Fest will not only reach experienced climbers but also provide a safe space for beginner climbers to come and learn more about all that climbing has to offer. We held this festival in Chattanooga from 2017 to 2019 and in North Conway, NH from 2022-2024. We hope that moving our location every few years will allow new folks to attend the event and grow our community!

Flash Foxy welcomes all women and genderqueer climbers to join us at this event. Our goal is to create and maintain a safe and diverse space where consent and respect are our first priorities. Harassment of any kind (unwanted contact, verbal or physical abuse, racism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming, etc.) will NOT be tolerated and will lead to being asked to leave.

Climbing Areas

The Eastside offers plentiful options for trad climbing, sport climbing, and bouldering year-round! Here are a few crag ideas to get you started - all located within a 1-hour drive from our festival venue. Remember, all climbers are responsible for managing their own risk. Trail conditions may vary and Flash Foxy cannot guarantee accessibility of any climbing areas. Please read all parking and land use regulations carefully. Participants are responsible for paying day use fees and obtaining any necessary climbing permits.
