Bring your torn, worn, tired, drab, and dysfunctional clothing + gear for a Flash Foxy glow up! Stop by the station to get tips and hands-on DIY expertise from expert mender Mollie Ruth (she/her) to help keep your gear going longer. We will provide materials to mend, patch, beautify, and upgrade your wardrobe and equipment!

Salsa on the rocks! dance workshop
Location: Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center Terrace
This workshop with Luca Verano Diaz (he/the) is catered to beginner and open-level learners who are curious about learning to dance Salsa On2 through a gender-affirming, embodied, and trauma-informed lens. Participants will learn some key historical background of the foundations of Salsa along with fundamental footwork and affirming body movement/styling for all genders. This workshop does not require any partner-work but it does require openness to engaging with the elements of yourself, the environment and the fellow dancers around you! The steps you learn in this workshop will be tightly choreographed to BAILE INoLVIDABLE by Bad Bunny (subject to change but regardless, we make it queer!!!). This workshop is intended to be fun, whimsical, sensual, and groooovy by the ROCKS!

Mapping the Inner Landscape: A Climber's Self Check-In
Location: AAC Gunks Campground
Join Laurel Cepero (she/her), trauma-focused counselor and climber, for a reflective, climbing-based self check-in. Together we'll map where you feel solid right now, where you're reaching past your comfort zone, and where you might want a little more support, on the wall and off. You'll leave with clearer language for your own experience and an assessment you can come back to anytime. All bodies, identities, and experience levels welcome. (This is a reflective workshop, not therapy.)

Making your Voice Heard: Public Lands Policy and Advocacy

Join Access Fund Northeast Regional Manager, Molly Mundy to talk about the many ways that Access Fund helps climbers advocate for the climbing areas they love, and why this work is important. We'll cover the political advocacy work that Access Fund does, from the PARC Act and new federal level climbing guidance, to what climbers need to know about state land and work happening right in New York, to what advocacy means to us individually and how it fits into our lives and our climbing. Come with your questions and thoughts!

Restorative Yoga
Location: Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center Terrace
All bodies welcome always- no experience necessary. A class to help rest and digest. We’ll keep it simple with no props… just you and your mat. If you don’t have one, bring a blanket or towel, or just do it on the ground. No frills - just chill. We’ll do some breathing and some stretching and some laying down to meditate. Super low stakes and high vibes. This class will be taught by local yoga instructor Mara Lileas (she/they).

Keeping it Cool at the Crag: Assertive Intervention & De-Escalation
Location: Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center Terrace
These times be wild y’all! This workshop with CAL (she/they) will cover basic techniques for de-escalating conflicts and situations as they arise at the crag, gym, parking lot and life. We will learn from one another, workshop potential/real concerns, and practice assertive interventions to keep ourselves cool, calm, and collected without compromising who we are - all while keeping our communities safe(r). The Land is Indigenous: Anti-Colonial Considerations for RECREATING OUTDOORS
Location: AAC Gunks Campground
No matter who you are, if you live in the United States (or any other capitalist society, really) chances are you’re used to looking at nature through a Colonialist lens. Even if we love the outdoors with all our heart and soul, and do our best to approach the environment with reverence and care, it is really, REALLY hard to unlearn the conditioning that tells us the land is a resource for us to use - that we are separate from nature - that humans are what make the natural become unnatural. In this workshop, we will be taking some time to consider lessons from Anishinaabe worldview that flip these assumptions on their heads. We will talk about how to see and engage with our plant, animal, water and land relatives differently. Not just from a place of respect - but from a place of interconnectedness and relationship. This workshop will be led by Caleb Seguin (he/him).

All are welcome to wrap up a foxy weekend with a double-feature evening featuring women and genderqueer climbers and community leaders! We’ll kick off the night with a couple of short films, WE ARE HERE: A Brown Girls Climb Film and No Wasted Days: Flash Foxy presented by Arc’teryx. After the screenings, we’ll be joined by Brittany Leavitt (she/her) and Athe Torri Cervantes (he/they) from Brown Girls Climb, and Marian May Perez (they/them) and Lou Bank (they/them) from Flash Foxy, for a discussion about diversity in the outdoors and to celebrate of a decade of collaboration between Brown Girls Climb and Flash Foxy!
WE ARE HERE: A Brown Girls Climb Film: Produced by Torrance C. Hill, a WHUT (PBS Howard) and Noir Prism Studios production, this short documentary follows Brown Girls Climb leaders and community members across the East Coast as they move from city gyms to outdoor crags. Through personal stories, mentorship, and shared experiences, the film highlights the power of creating inclusive, supportive spaces in climbing.
No Wasted Days: Flash Foxy: A 2024 Arc’teryx short film about how Flash Foxy is making space for women and genderqueer climbers at the crag. When they first started climbing, Lou (they/them) and Marian (they/them) didn’t see opportunities for those within the genderqueer community to go into the outdoors. So, they decided to become guides, share their knowledge, and open doors for others to experience the exhilaration of moving freely. They also plan some climbing festivals along the way ;)
