If you've registered for the festival you're all set! Meetups are free and are INCLUDED with your festival pass, just show up! Some will be climbing, some will be other activities for climbers!
Meetups are open only to registered festival participants. Please note schedule is always subject to change.

If you have any accessibility needs please speak directly to the Meetup Leader - or check-in with a festival organizer and we can help figure out what meetup is the best fit for you.

Climbing gear is NOT provided for meetups. All participants are required to supply their own climbing gear. Groups will discuss gear needs at the festival venue prior to meetup departure.

Meetups are not guided or instructional in nature. They are opportunities for participants to meet each other and find new friends to climb with. Meetup leaders will be familiar with local climbing. We encourage all participants and meetup leaders to make informed risk decisions and have conversations about risk and experience with all new climbing partners. Remember, climbing is inherently dangerous and you are responsible for your own safety.

Meet us at the AAC Gunks Campground at 10am on Friday to find your climbing crew! Climber Coffee will start at 9am :)
Saturday meetups will meet after the breakfast at 8:30am on Saturday.
Along with Meetup groups, we’ll also help facilitate finding climbing partners who share your goals for the weekend!

Friday Meetup with Wall Dolls
We're a trans femme climbing club that hosts meetups at climbing gyms in the Bay Area, Chicago, and more as we grow! We love bringing together climbers who are new to the outdoors with community members who are excited to share their knowledge in a welcoming and safe environment. Come join us for a day of trad and top rope climbing for trans folks and friends. We’ll head out to a crag at The Trapps where we’ll set up routes for some top rope. Experienced trad climbers are welcome to join too!
This meetup is for: Transgender-centered meetup for trans folks and allies.
Type of climbing: Trad + tope rope. We plan on setting up top rope routes for climbers inexperienced with trad, but we invite experienced trad climbers to join us!

Friday Meetup with AAC Gunks Chapter
Join members of the Gunks Chapter of the American Alpine Club for a fun day of top rope climbing! All are invited to hang out, share belays, and try their best! You’ll also be able to chat with members to learn about how to join the Gunks Chapter of the AAC and take advantage of their educational opportunities.

Friday Meetup with MOMMAS
Come climb, connect, and find your parent crew in the Gunks! Join MOMMAS, a community for climbing parents and caregivers, for a fun day at Jackie & Friends in the Trapps. We’ll gather around 5.4–5.8 climbs, with options for single-pitch trad and top roping, plus nearby two-pitch routes for experienced multipitch climbers. We’ll stick together, cheer each other on, swap belays and beta, and make new connections along the way.
New to climbing? You’re welcome, too - there will be top-rope options for joining in! This is a social meetup, not a guided or instructional event, so participants should climb within their own experience and abilities. Multipitch climbers should be experienced and equipped to climb independently.
It takes a village. Sometimes that village is at the crag.
This meetup is for: Moms, queer parents, and caregivers of all gender identities! All climbing experience levels welcome!

Saturday Meetup with Brown Girls Climb
Brown Girls Climb (BGC) is a national non-profit which strives to facilitate mentorship, provide access, uplift leadership, and celebrate representation in the outdoors and climbing for People of the Global Majority*. Join BGC local leader Ruby, and social media maven Sarah to boulder in a low-key, and highly-spirited environment. Participants are invited to climb at their own pace, build community, and enjoy crag snacks together.
This meetup is for: People of the Global Majority + allies + anyone who is bouldering-curious!

Saturday Meetup with Chalked Up(state) Queer Climbing
Join Chalked Up(state) for a welcoming, supportive top roping session at Peterskill. This event is intended as an accessible introduction for people who may be newer to outdoor climbing. Chalked Up(state) welcomes climbers of all experience levels, bodies, and abilities. Come hang at the crag, cheer each other on, share snacks, and connect with other LGBTQIA+ climbers!
