Meetups are not guided or instructional in nature. They are opportunities for participants to meet each other and find new friends to climb with. Meetup leaders will be familiar with local climbing. We encourage all participants and meetup leaders to make informed risk decisions and have conversations about risk and experience with all new climbing partners. Remember, climbing is inherently dangerous and you are responsible for your own safety.

Friday Themed Meetup
with Dan Bedoya
Do you have an exciting climbing story that’s waiting for the perfect audience? Maybe you’re looking to practice those rusty public speaking skills? If so, come join us for Climbing and Storytelling, a sport climbing and top rope meetup for climbers of all experience levels. Led by a former theatre professional, this meetup will offer climbers a chance to activate their sense of play through theatre games that warm up both body and imagination before an afternoon of fun climbing! Afterwards, participants will gather around and express themselves creatively by sharing their favorite climbing stories in a safe and supportive open mic that blends our passion for adventure with the timeless, human tradition of oral storytelling.

Shorty Sending Secrets
with Grey Curnutte
Sometimes to reach new heights you have to approach with a different perspective. Let’s hang out and talk about thinking outside the box and learning how to work with what you've got in a tall climber's world. We’ll break down the core physics of how we move and discuss how our footholds, handholds, and hips play a key role in helping or harming our movement. We’ll also talk about reading rock, identifying small feet and pesky hands, specifically here in the Red. Lastly, we’ll go over the role our hips play in a variety of climbing techniques, how to apply those concepts to different terrain, and what to do when you’re presented with different beta options.
