Deaf Affinity SPI Course
We are teaming up with Sonya Wilson and ASL Climbing Network with support from Arc'teryx to offer a FREE AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) Course for Deaf women + genderqueer climbers in 2026!! There are only FOUR spaces available in this exam, so let us know ASAP if you are interested in joining!
WHERE WE’RE GOING
A 2024 Arc’teryx short film about how Flash Foxy is making space for women and genderqueer climbers at the crag.
When they first started climbing, Lou (they/he) and Marian (they/she) didn’t see opportunities for those within the genderqueer community to go into the outdoors. So, they decided to become guides, share their knowledge, and open doors for others to experience the exhilaration of moving freely.
They also plan some climbing festivals along the way ;)
