A massive thank you to all 315 women and genderqueer climbers who joined us for a weekend of warm evenings, connection, courage, and kindness in Payahuunadü. We learned alongside 15 women and genderqueer guides and athletes, who hosted ten informational, inspiring, and intentional climbing clinics in partnership with our woman-owned guide service partner, Fifth Class Climbing School & Guide Service. Our community showed up too, with 25 climbers sharing knowledge and building community in the form of 3 cozy tea talks and 12 meetups. We gathered for two Indigenous cultural presentations, a panel on reciprocity in climbing culture, three film screenings, an athlete Q&A, a community slideshow, climbing trivia, four stewardship projects, a line dancing workshop, and a dance party!!

At our Saturday raffle, we raised a total of $2,685 - half of which will be donated to the Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone Cultural Center, the other half will be split between the Bishop Climbing Rangers and Friends of the Inyo. As a continued acknowledgement that our events take place on and benefit from native lands, we also donate $5 from every ticket sale to accompany our donation to the Bishop Paiute Tribe, this brings our total donation, with raffle ticket sales, to $2,167. At our Sunday evening presentation and raffle we raised $2,221 to be split between Wild Iris Family Counseling & Crisis Center and the Access Fund. Additionally, we raised $710 for the Flash Foxy Scholarship fund via merch sales throughout the weekend. These funds help us provide free tickets and travel stipends to our festivals and education programs. A big thank you to all of the sponsors who donated goods to make our raffle so enticing!

We partnered again with local guide company, Sierra Mountain Guides, for all our clinics. We partnered closely with the Bishop Paiute Tribe and Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone Cultural Center, over 33 local vendors, small businesses, and organizations, and the Bishop Chamber of Commerce. This includes but is not limited to local breweries, catering, gear stores, printing studios, guiding company, lodging, non-profits, Indigenous tribes and more. The climbing community and local community at large in Bishop is incredibly welcoming and generous and we are grateful to have so many awesome local partners.
We dedicate Sunday mornings during our events to Stewardship, and over 150 people participated in Stewardship Projects on tribal land with the Bishop Paiute Food Sovereignty Program and Bishop Paiute Environmental Management Office, and at the Buttermilks with the Bishop Climbing Rangers and Friends of the Inyo this year!
